The 2026 Emmy Awards have arrived, drawing stars to celebrate television’s best and accept their trophies.
The medical drama The Pitt leads the nominations with 25 nods, including Outstanding Drama Series, following its previous year’s win and multiple acting nominations for Noah Wylie, Katherine LaNasa, Patrick Ball, Shawn Hatosy, Gerran Howell, Taylor Dearden, Fiona Dourif, and Sepideh Moafi.
Hacks follows closely with 24 nominations, setting a new record for a single comedy season. The series competes for Outstanding Comedy Series, while Jean Smart seeks a fifth consecutive lead‑actress award and Hannah Einbinder returns as a supporting‑actress nominee.
Two standout titles—Pluribus and Widow’s Bay—receive strong recognition. Widow’s Bay, a macabre comedy set on a cursed New England island, earned 19 nominations, including acting nods for Matthew Rhys, Stephen Root, Dale Dickey, and Kate O’Flynn. Pluribus, Vince Gilligan’s post‑apocalyptic sci‑fi series, garnered 18 nominations, with lead actress Rhea Seehorn and co‑stars Carlos‑Manuel Vesga and Karolina Wydra receiving honors.
Other notable nominations include the limited series Beef and DTF St. Louis, which lead the limited‑series field, while perennial favorites such as Only Murders in the Building, Abbott Elementary, Slow Horses, The Bear, and The Diplomat also secured spots.
