Securing a division title is the initial step toward a Super Bowl chase, and each season a few teams surpass expectations while others fall short of the hype.

In 2025, the Patriots, Steelers, Jaguars, Broncos, Eagles, Bears, Panthers and Seahawks each captured their division crowns.

Seven of those eight squads were first‑time division winners, with only the Eagles managing to repeat from the prior season.

Which of these teams will defend their titles in 2026, or will a new set of division champions arise? Below are the current odds for winning each of the NFL’s eight divisions at DraftKings Sportsbook, updated July 23.

Odds indicate a close contest for the AFC East between Buffalo and New England (Kathryn Riley/Getty Images).

AFC East

Buffalo Bills: -130 (bet $10 to win $17.69 total)
New England Patriots: +125 (bet $10 to win $22.50 total)
New York Jets: +1900 (bet $10 to win $200 total)
Miami Dolphins: +4000 (bet $10 to win $410 total)

What to know: Since 2008, the AFC East title has alternated between the Patriots and the Bills. Buffalo claimed five consecutive crowns from 2020 through 2024, before New England reclaimed the division in 2025. The odds point to another tight duel between these two clubs. Buffalo will be guided by new head coach Joe Brady and has added DJ Moore and Bradley Chubb this offseason. Fresh off a Super Bowl appearance, New England aims to repeat its 2025 success with the addition of A.J. Brown.

AFC North

Baltimore Ravens: -112 (bet $10 to win $18.93 total)
Cincinnati Bengals: +184 (bet $10 to win $28.40 total)
Pittsburgh Steelers: +510 (bet $10 to win $61 total)
Cleveland Browns: +2100 (bet $10 to win $220 total)

What to know: Over the last six seasons, the Ravens, Steelers and Bengals have each won the division twice. In 2025, injuries limited Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow, allowing Pittsburgh to clinch the title with a Week 18 victory over Baltimore. With Jackson and Burrow expected to be healthy at the start of 2026, the odds suggest the AFC North will be a battle between Baltimore and Cincinnati.

AFC South

Houston Texans: +110 (bet $10 to win $21 total)
Jacksonville Jaguars: +245 (bet $10 to win $34.50 total)
Indianapolis Colts: +380 (bet $10 to win $48 total)
Tennessee Titans: +800 (bet $10 to win $90 total)

What to know: In the past four years, both the Jaguars and Texans have each won the AFC South twice. Liam Coen guided Jacksonville to a 13‑4 record and a division title in his inaugural season in 2025. However, after winning 12 of their last 14 games that year, the Texans enter 2026 as the favorites.

AFC West

Kansas City Chiefs: +160 (bet $10 to win $26 total)
Los Angeles Chargers: +190 (bet $10 to win $29 total)
Denver Broncos: +225 (bet $10 to win $32.50 total)
Las Vegas Raiders: +2000 (bet $10 to win $210 total)

What to know: After the Chiefs’ nine‑year streak of AFC West titles from 2016‑2024, Denver claimed the division in 2025. With an 11‑2 record in one‑score games and Patrick Mahomes expected to be fully healthy by Week 1, the odds project a more balanced race in 2026. Kansas City enters the season as the favorite to regain control, while the Chargers sit just behind them. Los Angeles is anticipated to have both All‑Pro tackles, Joe Alt and Rashawn Slater, back in the lineup after missing most of the previous season.

NFC East

Philadelphia Eagles: +115 (bet $10 to win $21.50 total)
Dallas Cowboys: +235 (bet $10 to win $33.50 total)
Washington Commanders: +460 (bet $10 to win $56 total)
New York Giants: +600 (bet $10 to win $70 total)

What to know: The Eagles have won the division in two consecutive seasons and in three of the last four. However, the 2026 NFC East is expected to be considerably tougher. Dallas has significantly upgraded its defense, Washington will have Jayden Daniels healthy from the start, and the Giants have added Super Bowl‑winning head coach John Harbaugh to their staff.

NFC North

Detroit Lions: +180 (bet $10 to win $28 total)
Green Bay Packers: +215 (bet $10 to win $31.50 total)
Chicago Bears: +305 (bet $10 to win $40.50 total)
Minnesota Vikings: +510 (bet $10 to win $61 total)

What to know: The NFC North remains one of the league’s most contested divisions. Over the last five seasons, each team has won the division at least once, and all four posted winning records in 2025. After capturing the North in 2023 and 2024, Detroit experienced a down year in 2025, but Vegas anticipates a strong rebound in 2026. Meanwhile, in Ben Johnson’s first season with Chicago, the Bears went 11‑6 and won the division.

NFC South

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: +164 (bet $10 to win $26.40 total)
New Orleans Saints: +265 (bet $10 to win $36.50 total)
Carolina Panthers: +310 (bet $10 to win $41 total)
Atlanta Falcons: +425 (bet $10 to win $52.50 total)

What to know: After the Buccaneers claimed the division four straight years from 2021‑2024, Carolina captured the NFC South in 2025 with an 8‑9 record—its first title since 2015. The odds indicate a tight race, with all four teams listed at +425 or better to win the South.

NFC WEST

Los Angeles Rams: +100 (bet $10 to win $20 total)
Seattle Seahawks: +205 (bet $10 to win $30.50 total)
San Francisco 49ers: +305 (bet $10 to win $40.50 total)
Arizona Cardinals: +10000 (bet $10 to win $1,010 total)

What to know: Outside Arizona, the NFC West featured arguably the three best teams in the league a season ago, and the odds reflect a similar outlook for 2026. The Seahawks, Rams and 49ers each won 12 games in 2025, with Seattle and Los Angeles meeting in the NFC Championship. Since 2016, Seattle has won the division three times, the Rams four times, and the 49ers three times. Arizona has not captured the NFC West since 2015.
