How to Watch Tour Championship on Sunday
Eight-time PGA Tour winner Viktor Hovland has been working through swing issues all season, but Sunday at the Tour Championship could see him crowned the 2026 FedEx Cup champion.
Hovland, the 2023 FedEx Cup winner, birdied four of his final six holes on Saturday with a 65 to take the lead heading into the final round. He holds a one-shot advantage over Ryan Gerard, who is also positioned to potentially secure one of the more surprising FedEx Cup victories in recent memory.
However, Hovland and Gerard won’t have the leaderboard to themselves. Three accomplished players are tied at 12 under par: World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, Ludvig Aberg, and Adam Scott.
Adding intrigue to the final round, Rory McIlroy rebounded with a 63 in Round 3 to surge up the leaderboard into a tie for seventh place. McIlroy begins Sunday just five shots behind Hovland.
The winner will take home $10 million and the prestigious FedEx Cup trophy.
