RIYADH – Fine‑watch enthusiasts gathered at The Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh on Friday, 9 October for the launch of Timeology Nights, a five‑day celebration running alongside Jewels of the World Luxe. The event is a partnership between 10tenLabs, a luxury‑watch retailer, and the Saudi‑based Collectors’ Watch Club. It featured an exhibition of leading global and independent watch brands, workshops, panel discussions and networking opportunities.
“Timeology Nights is the first event of its kind in the Kingdom, offering a premier platform to explore horology while fostering learning, cultural exchange and dialogue,” said organiser Nader Freiha. “Through our curated programming and series of special launches for the Kingdom, we hope to bring exceptional watchmaking closer to enthusiasts, and drive forward conversations and collaborations.”
The second day, 10 October, coincided with World Watch Day and showcased 24 new timepieces created exclusively for the Saudi market. The exclusive collection included pieces from 10tenLabs’ NAWAT series, a limited‑edition cornerstone, as well as special releases developed by the Saudi Collectors’ Watch Club, novel designs and watch‑making innovations.
Khaled Zainalabedin, founder and managing director of 10tenLabs, emphasized that Timeology Nights aimed to support and grow the local watchmaking community by blending Saudi heritage with global excellence. “This marks the first time that some of the world’s most renowned watchmaking names will showcase their creations in Saudi Arabia. They are joining us from across the globe, including Switzerland, Germany, Japan, France, Russia, the UK, the Netherlands and Italy,” he added.
“We are thrilled to unveil our limited‑edition releases to mark the occasion. We are equally proud to create a welcoming environment where watchmaking houses and brands feel at home, giving them the opportunity to engage directly with a growing base of highly knowledgeable and discerning customers.”
A series of interconnected spaces gave visitors insight into the many facets of horology. The Indie Salon highlighted independent watchmakers and traditional craftsmanship, while the Grand Salon brought together distinguished names from the global luxury watchmaking industry, alongside members of CwC.
