WWE Night of Champions 2026 will see the conclusion of the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments.
In the King of the Ring final, Oba Femi will face Jey Uso, while Liv Morgan goes one-on-one with IYO SKY in the Queen of the Ring final.
These two matches have a number of potential possibilities that could lead to some exciting results along the way.
Here are six potential surprises we could see in the 2026 WWE King and Queen of the Ring Finals.
6. Brock Lesnar returns to cost Oba Femi the King of the Ring
At WWE WrestleMania 42 night two, Oba Femi defeated Brock Lesnar. However, Lesnar got revenge on Femi with a win at WWE Clash In Italy 2026.
Since this win, Lesnar has been nowhere to be found on WWE TV, while Femi has been on a warpath.
This has led to ‘The Ruler’ ploughing his way to the King of the Ring final where he will face Jey Uso at WWE Night of Champions 2026.
After weeks of calling out his rival for ducking him after evening their record against one another to 1-1, Lesnar might return to cost Femi the King of the Ring and help Jey Uso fulfil his quest given to him by Roman Reigns.
5. Roxanne Perez betrays Liv Morgan to cost her against IYO SKY in the Queen of the Ring Finals
Over the past few months, Roxanne Perez has been showing some doubts in the found family that she has built with The Judgment Day.
After watching the group attack and excommunicate Finn Balor, it seems like Perez has been questioning her place in The Judgment Day despite Liv Morgan telling her otherwise.
This leads to the Queen of the Ring final where Morgan will face IYO SKY at WWE Night of Champions 2026 in Riyadh.
Thinking that Morgan has enough with the WWE Women’s World Championship, Roxanne could potentially cost Morgan the Queen of the Ring and set the stage for their showdown somewhere soon.
4. Jey Uso beats Oba Femi clean to win the King of the Ring Finals
Looking at both King and Queen of the Ring finals, there is definitely one result that doesn’t require outside forces involved that seems unfathomable which is Jey Uso beating Oba Femi clean.
Uso has found himself back in the singles scene and recently defeated Je’Von Evans in the King of the Ring semi-final on the June 19 edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
The former World Heavyweight Champion is on a mission given to him by Roman Reigns following their Bloodline reunion.
Uso defeating Femi on his own without The Bloodline or Brock Lesnar at WWE Night of Champions 2026 would be shocking in every way possible.
3. Liv Morgan wins the Queen of the Ring to set up champion vs. champion match at WWE SummerSlam 2026
Another surprising result that could possibly happen at WWE Night of Champions 2026 is Liv Morgan winning the Queen of the Ring crown.
Despite being the current WWE Women’s World Champion, Morgan earned herself in the Queen of the Ring final.
Morgan will now face IYO SKY in the tournament final on Saturday, June 27 at WWE Night of Champions 2026.
Morgan beating SKY would be surprising because this would set up an unprecedented champion vs. champion match with the WWE Women’s Champion at SummerSlam 2026.
2. IYO SKY wins the WWE Women’s Champion with a Queen of the Ring victory due to Rhea Ripley’s injury
While Liv Morgan winning would be surprising, IYO SKY winning more than just the Queen of the Ring crown would be shocking as well.
‘The Genius of the Sky’ finds herself one win away from a world title shot at WWE SummerSlam 2026.
Despite facing the WWE Women’s World Champion in the Queen of the Ring final at Night of Champions 2026, there was a significant shift in the title picture with Rhea Ripley suffering a knee injury recently.
Considering that Ripley could potentially be out of action, the Queen of the Ring final could set up a WWE Women’s Championship match with both the crown and title up for grabs where IYO could walk out as the new champion.
1. Jacob Fatu cost Jey Uso the King of the Ring Finals
At WWE Clash In Italy 2026, Roman Reigns defeated Jacob Fatu in a Tribal Combat match to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.
With this win, Reigns forced Fatu to acknowledge him as ‘The Tribal Chief’ and invited him into The Bloodline.
Since then, there have been some differences on display between Fatu and Uso as a battle of supremacy within The Bloodline.
This could lead to egos getting in the way with Fatu “accidentally” costing Jey the King of the Ring final against Oba Femi and wanting to bring the Undisputed WWE Championship to The Bloodline himself.
