Xbox Game Pass Announces September 2026 Lineup of New Releases and Departing Titles
Microsoft has confirmed the first wave of titles arriving on Xbox Game Pass this month, alongside several high‑profile releases that are exiting the service.
Back in May, more than twenty new games joined the subscription library, featuring Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, MIO: Memories In Orbit, Ball X Pit, Grounded 2 and an open beta for Gears Of War: E‑Day ahead of its full launch next month.
Alongside these contemporary launches, Microsoft also added the classic Conker: Live And Reloaded under the revamped Backwards Compatibility Program. “We’re committed to keeping games from four generations of Xbox playable for years to come,” said Xbox’s Jason Ronald. “As part of our 25th anniversary later this year, we’ll be rolling out new ways to experience some of our most iconic titles.”
Now Microsoft has identified the six flagship entries that will define the September 2026 schedule on Xbox Game Pass.

- Dice A Million – September 4 for Premium, Ultimate and PC subscribers
- Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War – September 8 for Premium, Ultimate and PC subscribers
- The Royal Writ – September 10 for Premium, Ultimate and PC subscribers
- Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage – September 10 for Premium, Ultimate and PC subscribers
- RuneScape: Dragonwilds – September 15 for Premium, Ultimate and PC subscribers

Earlier this month, Microsoft announced a significant price increase for Xbox Series X/S consoles in the UK and Europe. A 512 GB model that once retailed for £249.99 is now £429.99 after two consecutive hikes.
