The rain subsided as the cast gathered at Guildhall, with Vinnie Jones, Kaya Scodelario, Joely Richardson, and Ray Winstone present.
Upon being questioned about the Meghan rumors, Jones noted he had “only heard what you have.”
However, he quipped, “We already have plenty of beautiful women in this. I’m not sure there’s room for anyone else.”
Scodelario dismissed the inquiry as “way above my pay grade,” while Bonneville stated he had “no idea” whether the rumors held any truth.
“Prince Harry is in it,” James confirmed. “He’s portraying one of my love interests.”
Meanwhile, Jama, a newcomer to the cast, mentioned she had no advice to offer Meghan.
“Oh my God, she is a seasoned actor. I have no advice for her. She knows exactly what she’s doing,” Jama added.
Ritchie also attended the premiere but declined to speak with the press. However, writer and executive producer Matthew Read told BBC News that they were eager to “bring more energy and surprises to series two and beyond.”
So, not a denial, I inquired.
“I simply think it is inappropriate to speculate at this stage, so I would prefer not to confirm or deny,” he added.
