Arsenal are weighing up a potential move for Bournemouth striker Junior Kroupi when the winter transfer window opens, according to a report from The Independent.
The Gunners opted against signing a high-profile forward during the summer window and are now expected to address that gap at the turn of the year.
Kroupi was previously linked with the north London club earlier this year, though those rumours faded after he suffered a foot injury during pre-season.
The French forward is not expected to return to action until November at the earliest, yet speculation over a move to the Emirates has continued to gather pace.
While Kroupi is naturally a centre-forward, he has demonstrated considerable versatility throughout his young career, having also featured effectively as an attacking number ten and on the left flank.
The 20-year-old had expressed a preference for a return to Ligue 1 with Paris Saint-Germain, but that option reportedly no longer remains available to him.
Arsenal currently appear to be the most active suitor in the race for his signature, though Bournemouth are said to be demanding a substantial fee of around £90 million before considering a sale.
Kroupi registered 13 Premier League goals last season.
