Bad Bunny has officially joined the ranks of Emmy winners. At the Creative Arts Emmys on Saturday evening, his Super Bowl LX Halftime Show swept all seven categories in which it was nominated, making the Debí Tirar Más Fotos artist’s all-American spectacular the most-decorated nominee of the night.
The broadcast secured the Emmy for Outstanding Variety Special (Live), becoming just the third halftime show ever to win the category. It also earned recognition for music direction, choreography, sound mixing, lighting design, technical direction/camerawork, and directing. Bad Bunny technically has a connection to an eighth award, though it will not go to him personally: the episode of Saturday Night Live he hosted last season won the Emmy for Outstanding Makeup for a Variety, Nonfiction, or Reality Program.
Among Bad Bunny’s wins, Jay-Z, who served as an executive producer on the halftime show, now holds another Emmy. Jay previously won for his work on Kendrick Lamar’s 2025 performance at Super Bowl LIX, which had held the record for most Emmys won by a Super Bowl performance until Saturday night.
Other notable victories of the evening include Sabrina Carpenter, who earned her first Emmy for her role as a performer and executive producer on The Muppet Show. The special claimed the statuette for Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded), beating out Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour | The Final Show. The Billy Joel HBO miniseries And So It Goes won in the Outstanding Sound Mixing For a Nonfiction Program category, while 50 Cent’s Diddy documentary Sean Combs: The Reckoning took home the award for Outstanding Picture Editing for a Nonfiction Program.
