Manchester United have reached an agreement to sign Liverpool prospect Isaac Konde, as confirmed by renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Manchester United have intensified their pursuit of emerging talents over the past 18 months, culminating in a deal to secure the midfielder.
The player was offered a professional deal with Liverpool at 17 but opted to join United instead.
Manchester United are expected to pay a compensation fee of approximately £1 million, along with additional add-ons, to complete the transfer.
Konde has not yet made a senior appearance, but early assessments indicate significant potential, with a possible fast-track to the first team.
The 16-year-old will initially join the Under-18 squad, with a potential promotion to the Under-21s pending his development.
