ALPHA DRIVE ONE Live From VEVO Studios
Vevo
ALPHA DRIVE ONE spent the summer embracing harder British rave and punk influences while promoting their UNBREAKABLE : 少年 BEAST album. However, inside Vevo Studios, the rookie boy band shifted its approach entirely, delivering the first-ever live performance of its album track “Talk to me.” This performance arrives over a month ahead of the song’s official music video.
Enhanced by top-tier audio capture and cinematic lighting, the Vevo setting perfectly suits the restraint required by the track. Built around smooth synths and glitchy R&B rhythms, “Talk to me” allows ALD1’s smooth vocal delivery to take center stage. Stand-up microphones enable the members to focus entirely on their performance.
Dressed in coordinating white shirts and dark jeans beneath soft blue-and-white lighting, the members serenade viewers in a manner their UNBREAKABLE : 少年 BEAST comeback promotions have yet to showcase. You can now watch ALPHA DRIVE ONE’s “Talk to me” Live From Vevo Studios exclusively on Forbes:
“With our UNBREAKABLE title track ‘BORN DIRE,’ we demonstrated the intense energy of our performance,” says ALD1 leader Leo. “‘Talk to me’ is where we get to show a more romantic, softer side of ourselves over a more polished sound that feels distinctly ours. Through this Vevo live performance, we wanted to share another side of ALPHA DRIVE ONE with the world, highlighting all the different colors that define us.”
ALD1’s main dancer Arno adds, “This is such a special moment for us that we will remember for a long time, and we feel deeply honored to share it with Vevo. We want to continue showcasing the unique colors of ALPHA DRIVE ONE through many more songs and stages to come.”
This Vevo performance continues a breakout run that started almost immediately after the group’s formation. ALPHA DRIVE ONE emerged from Mnet’s Boys II Planet competition series on September 25, 2025, following more than 26 million votes from fans across 223 regions and countries who cast them together as an octet. When members Leo, Arno, Junseo, Geonwoo, Sangwon, Xinlong, Anxin, and Sanghyeon released their debut album, EUPHORIA, it sold over a million copies within 24 hours of its January release. According to Hanteo Chart, the record closed its first week at more than 1.44 million copies sold, marking the second-highest first-week total for any debut album in the chart’s history, trailing only behind ZEROBASEONE—ALD1’s labelmates who also delivered their own special Vevo Studios performance a year prior.
Meanwhile, UNBREAKABLE : 少年 BEAST sold nearly 1.14 million copies in its first week following its August 24 release. This figure is expected to grow, aided by the physical version of the record releasing in the U.S. on October 2 through ALPHA DRIVE ONE’s new partnership with Universal Music Group’s Republic Records, followed by the official music video for “Talk to me” dropping on October 27.
