Kohti Tuhoa Announces New Album ‘Paratiisi’, Drops Aggressive Lead Single “Valmistaudu Sotaan”

Helsinki-based hardcore punk outfit Kohti Tuhoa has built a formidable reputation for delivering raw, unrelenting Finnish D-beat that transcends language barriers. Singing entirely in their native tongue, the band communicates a universal message of rebellion and defiance against oppression that resonates deeply with listeners worldwide. Having established themselves as a powerful force in the underground scene since 2014, the group is now set to release their fourth full-length album, Paratiisi (Finnish for “Paradise”).

The upcoming record serves as the follow-up to their acclaimed 2021 EP Väkivaltaa and marks their first full-length release since 2019’s Ihmisen Kasvot. While the album Paratiisi promises to explore some experimental territories, including a free jazz venture, the band’s lead single, “Valmistaudu Sotaan” (translating to “Prepare For War”), is a pure, unadulterated two-minute assault of fiery, fists-up punk rock designed to incite immediate action.
