CAIRO, Sept. 12 (Reuters) – Iraq dismissed a military commander early Saturday after an investigation confirmed that recent drone attacks targeting Saudi Arabia were launched from Iraqi territory, the prime minister’s office said.
The commander was responsible for military operations in Maysan province in southern Iraq, according to the statement.
