Jordan Pickford has become only the 19th goalkeeper to record 100 or more clean sheets in Premier League history. He reached the milestone as Everton secured a 0-0 draw at Tottenham on Saturday.
Petr Cech leads the all-time rankings with 202 clean sheets, a record that stands far ahead of David James, who occupies second place. The former Czech Republic international also holds the Premier League records for the highest clean sheet percentage per game and the most consecutive shutouts.
Cech was additionally the fastest goalkeeper to reach the century mark. Liverpool’s Alisson Becker was the previous goalkeeper to join the 100 clean sheet club, achieving his milestone during a 0-0 draw with Leeds on 1 January 2026.
Newcastle’s Nick Pope is next in line to reach the landmark, currently sitting on 80 clean sheets, though he has yet to feature this season after losing his starting position to Lukas Hornicek.
Former West Ham keeper Lukasz Fabianski narrowly missed out on reaching the century, retiring with 92 clean sheets after spending the 2025-26 season on the sidelines with injury.
Goalkeepers must play a full match to be credited with a clean sheet.
