Manchester United have reportedly scheduled a date for midfielder Carlos Baleba to make his competitive debut.
The Cameroon international completed his move to the Red Devils from Brighton & Hove Albion this summer, despite having sustained an ankle injury during pre-season.
Baleba has not yet rejoined team training with United, and it has now been confirmed that he will not be involved in fixtures against Brighton & Hove Albion or Fulham.
The midfielder is also expected to miss matches against Tottenham Hotspur and Atletico Madrid after the international break, but could potentially be available for the derby against Leeds United on October 18.
Baleba endured a disappointing 2025/26 season with Brighton, with his form and performance levels dropping significantly after he failed to secure a transfer to Manchester United.
He has finally earned the opportunity to represent the Red Devils, and it remains to be seen whether he can make an immediate impression at his new club.
United are already under significant pressure after securing just four points from as many league games. They face a challenging fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Carabao Cup third round on Wednesday.
