Mitch Voit, a top infield prospect for the New York Mets, has drawn significant attention not only for his on-field achievements but also for his distinctive appearance, which sparked widespread online discussion.
Voit’s media interview at Citi Field on Monday went viral after social media users highlighted his striking features, with many joking that his looks resembled those of an AI-generated character or a fictional Disney prince.
During the Mets’ annual top prospect recognition event, Voit was honored for his outstanding 2026 season, during which he hit .273 across Single-A and Double-A with 13 home runs and 59 RBIs. From May 24 onward, he maintained a .300 batting average with an .866 OPS for the organization.
Voit, selected 38th overall in the 2025 Draft, credited his analytical approach to baseball, stating, “I’m trying to figure out my strengths in the box and how do my strengths match up against this pitcher? And how can I maximize this at-bat to bring the most value in that moment?”
