The Undertaker and Sean Waltman Relive the Night the Bone Street Krew Rescued the Kliq in Moncton

During a recent episode of “Six Feet Under,” Sean Waltman and The Undertaker reflected on a tense evening in Moncton, New Brunswick. Waltman and the rest of the Kliq found themselves cornered outside a local bar, only to be rescued when The Undertaker and his Bone Street Krew (BSK) associates fortuitously arrived on the scene.

Despite a long-standing rumor among wrestling fans that the BSK and the Kliq harbored animosity toward one another, members of both factions have consistently denied these claims. Read Waltman and The Undertaker’s recollections below:

Regarding the BSK and Kliq’s Perceived Rivalry

Undertaker: “People frequently ask about it nowadays. With everyone consuming podcasts, they assume they know exactly what happened behind closed doors. They ask, ‘How did the BSK and the Kliq get along?’ The answer is: great.”
Waltman: “Absolutely. In fact, you guys showed up and saved our lives one night.”

Recalling the Incident in Moncton

Waltman: “We were in Moncton at the main club, Ziggy’s. We visited it every time we were in town; it was the only place to go. On this particular night, it was Scott, Kev, Shawn, and myself—perhaps a few others—and suddenly, everyone in the bar wanted to do us harm.”
Undertaker: “I wonder why?”
Waltman: “I’m not entirely sure. It was likely something Shawn instigated. We ended up standing outside, completely surrounded. I am not exaggerating at all. We were boxed in, and out of nowhere, this large black Lincoln pulled up.”

The BSK’s Timely Arrival

Undertaker: “There were three of us in our group, as the whole crew was in town. Junebug and Yoko were in one vehicle, while Bear and I were in another. We just happened to arrive simultaneously.”
Waltman: “A group of tough guys stepped out, casually asking, ‘What’s up?’ Everyone outside immediately retreated back into the bar.”
Undertaker: “It was wintertime, so we were all wearing long black leather trench coats. I miss Yoko tremendously. As he stepped out of the car, he was already talking trash. It was obvious a confrontation was brewing, and we recognized that our friends were at the center of it. That was all Yoko needed to see. There is a code of honor among us, and you simply do not mess with the boys.”

Discussing Nicknames from the Era

Waltman: “For those unfamiliar, Junebug is Rikishi.”
Undertaker: “My apologies, I forget that not everyone may recognize that name. When I reminisce about those days, I have to remember to run through everyone’s aliases so the audience understands. But yes, Junebug, Bear, Hillbilly Lover—it was always Hillbilly Lover. We genuinely got along exceptionally well. There was never any real friction between us.”
