Lance Archer revealed he questioned whether to compete at a Warrior Wrestling event on Sunday after learning of the death of AEW star PAC, known privately as Benjamin Satterley. The news broke just hours before the show, casting a pall over the locker room.
Before the event proceeded, Archer addressed the crowd to deliver the tragic news, requesting silence as some audience members reacted without understanding the gravity of the moment. He emphasized the reality of the loss, urging fans to check their news feeds for confirmation.
Archer explained that his decision to perform came after a conversation with Jon Moxley, a close ally of PAC within the Death Riders faction. Moxley, known for checking on his peers in times of tragedy, advised Archer that life offers only a single lifetime. He instructed Archer to lace up his boots, perform to the best of his ability, and entertain the paying audience in honor and remembrance of their fallen brother.
Marina Shafir, also a member of the Death Riders, delivered an emotional tribute during the same event. She disclosed that she had embraced PAC and told him she loved him just one day prior. Shafir described him as the light of their group, a humble and incredible man who helped bring out the best in her. She urged those in attendance to express love to those close to them while they have the chance, promising a future rematch for Sierra and asking everyone to take a moment to appreciate one another.
All Elite Wrestling officially announced PAC’s death on Sunday evening, one day after he competed at AEW All Out 2026 in a challenge for the National Championship against Andrade.
