Wales will again contend without key players Karl Darlow, Joe Rodon, Dylan Lawlor, David Brooks and Harry Wilson, all sidelined by injury, as they aim to sustain the momentum from their recent triumph over Norway.
Bellamy indicated he must make changes to the squad that started on Thursday, as Wales look to atone for last Sunday’s defeat in Denmark.
Although they earned some credit in their Nations League opener against Portugal ten days earlier, Wales suffered a heavy defeat in a demoralising night in Copenhagen.
Davies believes the familiarity of Cardiff City Stadium will be pivotal as Wales chase a victory over Denmark, who sit 17 places above them in the FIFA rankings at 21st.
“Playing away clearly makes a difference. We struggled to control the game in Denmark, whereas our match against Norway in Cardiff felt different, with our home fans and atmosphere giving us much more control,” he said.
“It felt like a different game, and we had significantly more control. You always have to try to make your home advantage count.”
