Zoey Serrano debuted in TNA earlier this year and has since spoken publicly about how her signing came together.
After spending an extended period sidelined by a serious injury, the wrestler formerly known as Zoey Stark was released by WWE earlier in the year. She subsequently made her TNA re-debut under the name Zoey Serrano on the August 27, 2026, episode of Impact.
In a recent interview with the Wrestling Classic, Serrano described the circumstances that led to the deal. “I don’t know if you’re a believer or not, but I believe in God. I sat there and prayed about this for almost a month straight. Then I felt this very strong gut pull — TNA is the answer, you know? I don’t know why, but I always knew that’s where my gut was going,” she said.
Serrano explained that before Scott Dreamer’s departure from TNA, he had reached out to her. Following that initial contact, she spoke with TNA President Carlos Silva, which set the process in motion.
“I had a conversation with Carlos, and right after that phone call, he was like, ‘Yeah, let’s do it. Let’s sign you.’ It was pretty easy. It wasn’t a hard thing — it just felt right,” Serrano said.
Serrano most recently lost to Indi Hartwell by disqualification on the September 25 episode of TNA Impact.
