Marissa Ayers, girlfriend of New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart, announced she has obtained the keys to her first solo apartment in the New York area, marking a milestone roughly one year after they began dating.
Ayers, a model and social‑media influencer, shared in a Thursday TikTok that she had signed the lease for her inaugural solo apartment but intends to delay moving in so she can support Dart as he recuperates from season‑ending knee surgery.
She said, “I’m finally picking up the keys to my very first apartment. Living alone for the first time feels surreal—I’ve been planning this move for over a year. I graduated from the University of Alabama in May 2025 and have essentially been living out of a suitcase ever since. I’m amazed I managed it this long, but it was simply the phase I was in.”
Ayers noted she hasn’t set a firm move‑in date, adding that the transition won’t occur this month.
She explained, “I’ll gradually furnish the place and visit regularly to handle tasks day by day. I plan to spend plenty of time with Jax, especially since his recent surgery left him needing extra support. Being there for him feels natural; we look out for each other, and that’s simply how we operate.”
The former ring girl recalled that she first considered moving last December—about two months after meeting Dart—but opted instead to accompany him to California and Hawaii during the NFL offseason.
She added, “Since Dart heads to California each offseason to train, I was with him there from February through April, just exploring the area. Anyone would do the same; it was still early in our relationship.”
“We wanted to share every experience, and my remote work gave me the flexibility to do so,” she continued. “The spring and summer were among the happiest periods of my life—he’s practically my best friend. I was fully immersed in the moment, saying yes to everything, and the idea of an apartment hadn’t even crossed my mind. It was incredibly fun.”
She said, “I always sensed there would come a moment when things would settle down, and that moment is now. I’m thrilled to finally establish my own space and gain a sense of grounding.”
Dart and Ayers made their relationship public on social media in January after months of speculation.
The couple debuted together on the red carpet at the NFL Honors ceremony in February.
Dart underwent surgery on September 25 to repair a damaged meniscus and medial collateral ligament, four days after sustaining the injury in the first quarter of a 28‑6 loss to the Rams.
The Giants, now 3‑1, will travel to face the 1‑3 Commanders on Sunday.
