On Thursday, Israeli forces sealed off agricultural roads in western Deir Ballut, Salfit district, while settlers simultaneously assaulted farmland in the neighboring community of Kafr Al‑Dik.
According to local reports, Israeli bulldozers erected earth barriers on multiple agricultural roads in western Deir Ballut, barring farmers from accessing their fields.
In Kafr Al‑Dik, settlers targeted farmland belonging to Ali Abdullah Qassem in the town’s northern sector. They broke and damaged olive trees, vandalized the fruit, and destroyed an agricultural storage room on the property.
These assaults occurred during the olive harvest season, part of a broader pattern of settler attacks on Palestinian farmers and their lands throughout the occupied territories.
Earlier on Wednesday, settler incursions in Burqa and Sahl Ramin led to the death of 44‑year‑old Ali Hassan Yasser Al‑Bazzari and left 16 others wounded.
Settlers also assaulted Palestinian olive pickers in Abwein (north of Ramallah) and Al‑Laban Al‑Sharqiya (south of Nablus). Local sources reported that settlers, backed by Israeli soldiers, forced harvesters to abandon their fields in the eastern and northern parts of Abwein and the western and northern sections of Al‑Laban Al‑Sharqiya. A farmer’s vehicle was also targeted during these incidents.
