Raye to Present Orchestral Reimagining of ‘This Music May Contain Hope’ at Royal Albert Hall

Raye has announced a special one-off concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall, featuring a reimagined orchestral version of her album ‘This Music May Contain Hope’.

The event, titled ‘This Symphony May Contain Hope,’ will take place at the historic venue in South Kensington on Friday, October 23.

During the show, the London-based artist will perform her critically acclaimed second album in full, reinterpreting each track as a symphony with the assistance of her band, The Heritage Orchestra, and Flames Collective. Notable songs such as ‘Where Is My Husband!’ and ‘Click Clack Symphony’ will be presented in this new arrangement.

To mark the album’s announcement, Raye released an orchestral rendition of “I Will Overcome” on Friday, October 9, recorded at Abbey Road Studios with the London Symphony Orchestra. The track is available below as a preview of the upcoming Royal Albert Hall performance.

The upcoming concert will be Raye’s second symphonic showcase at the venue, following a 2023 performance that reimagined her album ‘My 21st Century Blues’ with the 50-piece Heritage Orchestra and Flames Collective. That show was filmed for the music film Live At The Royal Albert Hall, which was broadcast on BBC and PBS and received a Grammy nomination for Best Music Film.

In 2024, Raye expanded her symphonic performances with a sold-out run at The O2, also featuring the Heritage Orchestra and Flames Collective.

The new concert follows Raye’s recent performances, including a tribute to George Michael at the 2026 MTV VMAs and headline sets at Reading & Leeds festivals. Earlier this summer, she collaborated with Alicia Keys and Mark Ronson at the Montreux Jazz Festival’s 60th anniversary, performing duets like ‘Uptown Funk’ and ‘Suzanne’.

Outside music, Raye is set to make her acting debut in Yann Demange’s crime thriller Lineage, starring alongside Jason Bateman and Jude Law.
