Max Caster has been removed from the official AEW roster page, signaling the end of his tenure with the promotion, while the status of his former tag team partner Anthony Bowens remains uncertain.
Both members of The Acclaimed became free agents at the start of October. Caster’s departure was confirmed today with the announcement that he will make his TNA Wrestling debut this Sunday at Bound for Glory, answering Moose’s open challenge. Bowens, conversely, remains listed on the AEW roster as of this writing. He was last seen competing for the company at All In in late August, whereas Caster has not appeared in an AEW ring for some time.
There is no clarity regarding whether Bowens will re-sign with AEW or pursue opportunities elsewhere. Reports indicated that as their contracts neared expiration, no negotiations for new deals had taken place, and it was unclear if the company would extend offers to either performer.
The Acclaimed captured the AEW World Tag Team Championships during a single reign spanning 2022 to 2023, finding significant success as a makeshift pairing. A future reunion of the duo appears unlikely following the conclusion of their tag team run.
