Thousands of Imran Khan Backers Head Toward Islamabad Despite Government Ban

A large contingent of supporters for Pakistan’s former prime minister, Imran Khan, has begun traveling toward Islamabad to call for his release from prison. Khan has been incarcerated since 2023. Authorities have declared that the government will not allow the procession to enter the capital.
