[TRUMP PROPOSES ‘Ocean’ Naming Change for Atlantic and Pacific Waters]
President Donald Trump on Saturday floated the idea of renaming more bodies of water, following his efforts to change the names of the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Ontario.
During a rally in Clarksville, Tennessee, President Donald Trump highlighted his unconventional proposal during remarks at a gathering. He stated, “We’ve got the gulf. We’ve got a beautiful lake,” addressing a specific location reference. When asked about the significance of rivers versus larger reservoirs, he elaborated on his vision, saying, “Now, somebody said, you need a river. … We need a river. We need an ocean.”
