Oba Femi emerged from WWE Money in the Bank 2026 with a decisive victory over Bronson Reed and a clear target for his next challenge.
During the event’s post-show, the rising star issued a direct challenge to Roman Reigns after the crowd began chanting the World Heavyweight Champion’s “OTC” moniker.
Femi had already overcome interference from The Vision to defeat Reed at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on October 10. Despite Reed utilizing brass knuckles and attempting to finish the match with the Tsunami, the Ruler prevailed and immediately set his sights on a far greater challenge.
Oba Femi Calls Out Roman Reigns After WWE Money in the Bank
Speaking on the official Money in the Bank post-show alongside Jackie Redmond, Big E, and Peter Rosenberg, Femi explained that Reed’s attempts to gain an advantage never shook his confidence.
“We knew he was coming out with the chair. We knew he was coming with the knuckles. But nonetheless, the Ruler prevails. So, it doesn’t matter. It never mattered. And going forward, bring your best shot,” Femi stated.
When Big E asked if another WWE Superstar remained on Femi’s list of desired opponents, the crowd erupted in “OTC” chants. Femi left no doubt about his intentions.
“Tribal Chief. No more running. It is about that time,” he declared.
The challenge came hours after Reigns defeated LA Knight to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. Reigns also found himself entangled in the ongoing confrontation between The Bloodline and 946 following his title defense.
Femi credited his preparation for allowing him to rise to the occasion, explaining, “All of my life has been about preparation. Because if you are ready enough, you will definitely live up to the moment. And I have done so much preparation. Everything I have done in my life has led to this moment.”
WWE has not announced a match between Reigns and Femi. However, the challenge places the champion firmly in the Ruler’s sights, and Femi has made it clear he has no intention of waiting in line indefinitely. After surviving Reed and The Vision, he now waits to see if the OTC will answer the call.
