Gaza: A Journalist’s Immutable Record of Forced Displacement[/TITLE
Following Israel’s order to evacuate Gaza City, a journalist documents the forced displacement while enduring the experience alongside her family.
Maram Humaid dedicates her day to reporting, writing, and hearing the stories of Palestinians navigating Israel’s war on Gaza. With the city ordered entirely cleared – a first under the current conflict – she confronts what could be the toughest stretch of her career.
She balances motherhood with pervasive hunger and the loss of colleagues, persisting in her documentation amid escalating dangers. Traversing the evacuating city, she encounters both those choosing to flee and those refusing to abandon their homes, offering a nuanced view of the human toll.
This documentary, titled “Gaza: Still Reporting,” was produced by filmmakers Mohammed Sawwaf, Salah Al‑Haw, and Ibrahim Al‑Otl.
