Dream rock group Fathom covered roughly 700 kilometres across Australia to perform nine consecutive shows, establishing a new Guinness World Record for the most concerts delivered within a 12‑hour period across several cities.
To qualify in this challenge, each venue had to be situated at least 50 km from any other, located in cities with populations exceeding 15,000 residents, and half of those locations required a minimum population of 100,000 inhabitants.
The band collaborated with mental‑health organisation Beyond Blue, pledging to donate half of its ticket and merchandise revenue to support ongoing services.
A BBC feature captured the rehearsal and performance, highlighting both the logistical triumphs and personal challenges faced throughout the ambitious schedule.
