Apple has achieved a major early milestone with its first foldable iPhone, as preorder demand has been characterized as “nothing short of extraordinary.”
Despite the enthusiastic response, shipping estimates for the iPhone Duo in the United States have already been delayed, now projecting delivery as late as January 2027. Apple told CNBC it is “working hard to get this revolutionary new product into customers’ hands as quickly as possible, and we will continue accepting orders online.”
Customer experiences vary widely. Some users can pick up their devices at Apple Stores starting October 23, while others receive shipping windows in November or December. Those who missed the initial preorder wave see January delivery dates on the online store, alongside a pickup option that says “Check back for availability on 10.24.” Apple has indicated it will offer “shopping in‑store or online for iPhone Duo,” but has not confirmed in‑store availability at physical locations or authorized retailers. Best Buy’s website currently lists November shipping estimates for the iPhone Duo at the time of publication.
