- Bitmine accelerates Ethereum token acquisition this week, expanding its digital asset treasury to 6.04 million ETH.
Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR), a global leader among digital asset platforms, is now approximately 100,000 tokens from securing 5% of Ethereum’s (ETH) total circulating supply. During the past week, BMNR authorized multi‑million‑dollar purchases of the digital asset as markets experienced typical corrections.
This transaction raises Bitmine’s digital asset treasury (DAT) inventory to 6,041,481 ETH, representing roughly 4.95% of Ethereum’s total circulating supply of about 122.15 million tokens. Such progress brings the platform nearer to achieving its “Alchemy of 5%” target.
The cumulative total integrates Bitmine’s 215 Bitcoin (BTC) exposure, an $180 million commitment to Beast Industries, a $74 million holding in eightco Holdings (ORBS), and $582 million in liquid cash and marketable securities.
To fine‑tune its DAT holdings, Bitmine has staked roughly 83.88% of its Ether via its MAVAN (Made in America Validator Network) protocol alongside selected partners. Modeled returns indicate potential annualized passive income approaching $309 million from this strategy.
Bitmine maintains the rank of largest publicly held Ethereum position, trailing only Strategy (MSTR) in terms of DAT valuation.
Bitmine’s Latest Ethereum Purchases
On Monday, Bitmine disclosed purchasing 12,535 ETH within the last seven days. While the firm did not disclose the precise transaction price, analysts estimate the acquire value at roughly $29.65 million using Sunday’s Ethereum valuation from Coinbase. The addition lifts Bitmine’s digital asset treasury (DAT) count to 6,041,481 ETH, equivalent to nearly 4.95% of Ethereum’s roughly 122.15 million circulating tokens. These figures place the company on a clearer path toward locking a 5% stake in Ether, consistent with its “Alchemy of 5%” initiative.
Beyond pure ETH, Bitmine’s balance sheet includes 215 Bitcoin (BTC) holdings, a $180 million stake in Beast Industries, a $74 million allocation to eightco Holdings (ORBS), and $582 million earmarked for cash and marketable instruments.
By leveraging its proprietary MAVAN (Made in America Validator Network) and partner infrastructure, Bitmine has staked ~83.88% of its Ether. Financial models forecast potential annual passive revenue of approximately $309 million from this stake strategy.
Bitmine stands as the leading open‑to‑public Ethereum custodian, ranking second only to Strategy (MSTR) in DAT worth.
Positive Outlook in Ether
Despite the Ether pullback that brought the currency down to $2,300 during the prior week, Chairman Lee stayed composed. He attributed the retreat to a tightening risk appetite amplified by concerns over artificial‑intelligence financing, emerging model safety issues, escalating U.S.–Iran tensions, uncertainty surrounding upcoming American mid‑term elections, and broadly higher global bond yields.
Lee stressed that cryptocurrency custody is heavily concentrated in the United States, South Korea, and Taiwan. When holders in these major hubs reduce exposure, secondary pressures propagate through the wider crypto ecosystem. Nevertheless, he maintained conviction that core project fundamentals—especially Ethereum itself—remain resilient. Price drops were deemed favorable risk/reward opportunities rather than signs of systemic weakness.
The chairman concluded that Bitmine’s disciplined ethical framework for ETH accumulation, sustained even amid bearish cycles, equips the company to deliver superior performance relative to the broader crypto market once the next bull market fully consolidates.
