AEW Dynamite Preview: Bang Bang Gang Turns Heel, Mercedes Moné Sets New Women’s World Title Challenger, IIja Dragonuv Makes In-Ring Debut

AEW has released highlights from Wednesday’s Dynamite, which aired live on TBS and HBO Max from the Waste Center in Coral Gables, Florida.

This week’s episode served as the direct fallout from Saturday’s WrestleDream premium live event.

The main storyline unfolded as the Bang Bang Gang turned heel, attacking The Conglomeration and the Death Riders. They aligned with Clark Connors and David Finlay, who subsequently turned on Gabe Kidd after he attempted to intervene during a post-match assault on Jon Moxley involving Roderick Strong. Despite efforts from the Death Riders to counter, Connors, Finlay, and the newly-formed heel faction gained the upper hand, standing tall in the ring.

Additionally, Mercedes Moné secured a new challenger for the Women’s World Championship through a TBS Title No. 1 Contender’s Match, while IIja Dragonuv made her in-ring debut, among other developments.
