Indy Kaila on Trent Alexander-Arnold
Transfer news account Indy Kaila shared an exclusive update on X regarding Alexander-Arnold’s potential move back to English football:
“Exclusive: Trent Alexander-Arnold to reassess his future at Real Madrid. Sources state a short-term loan move back to the Premier League in January is one option. The player will always have Liverpool in his heart.”
The report suggests that while several Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Arsenal, are monitoring the situation, an emotional return to Anfield remains a leading consideration given his strong ties to his boyhood club.
Trent Alexander-Arnold Struggling for Minutes at Real Madrid

Alexander-Arnold’s position at Real Madrid has grown increasingly uncertain following a difficult start to the season.
The former Liverpool defender has reportedly started just three matches across La Liga and the Champions League this campaign.
Competition for places has increased following the arrival of Denzel Dumfries, while Federico Valverde’s versatility gives Carlo Ancelotti another option on the right side of defence.
Consequently, Alexander-Arnold has failed to secure a regular starting role.
His recent appearances highlight the extent of his limited involvement.
Across Real Madrid’s last seven matches in all competitions, the England international has reportedly played only 138 minutes.
He remained on the bench against RB Leipzig, Sevilla, Roma, Atlético Madrid and Rayo Vallecano.
His only appearances in that span came against Villarreal, where he played 52 minutes, and Elche, where he featured for 86 minutes.
For a player used to being a regular starter at Liverpool, the lack of consistent game time marks a significant adjustment.
Alexander-Arnold’s ability to create chances from deep and dictate play with his passing remains a valuable asset, but he has struggled to establish a regular role in Ancelotti’s side.
