WASHINGTON — General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has named Amy Johnson as its new president, effective November 3.
Johnson succeeds Amy Gilliland, who departed the company earlier this month after nearly a decade in the role. Paul Nedzbala has served as acting president during the interim period.
“Amy has a proven track record of leading teams to solve complex and highly technical challenges for our customers,” said Phebe Novakovic, outgoing CEO of General Dynamics. “I am confident that her dynamic leadership, operational rigor and deep commitment to our values and culture will deliver value to our customers, employees and shareholders.”
Johnson brings 27 years of experience with General Dynamics Mission Systems to her new role. Most recently, she served as vice president and general manager for Space, Cyber and Intelligence, with expertise spanning cybersecurity, defense electronics, space systems, and intelligence operations.
As a leading provider of federal IT solutions, GDIT delivers critical cyber, software, and networking capabilities to military and civilian agencies across enterprise and tactical edge environments, enabling secure communications, comprehensive cyber operations, and network threat monitoring.
