Anthropic unveiled its Form S-1 filing on Monday, moving the company closer to a long-awaited public market debut that investors now view as increasingly likely this year.
Prediction market traders on Kalshi placed 95% odds that the artificial intelligence company would officially announce an initial public offering by the end of 2026. Kalshi defines an official IPO announcement as the Securities and Exchange Commission declaring an S-1 effective, a priced IPO, or an exchange assigning a stock ticker.
The Anthropic S-1 envisions a Nasdaq Stock Market ticker symbol of “ANT.”
Anthropic is aiming to begin trading the week of Nov. 16, according to a Wall Street Journal report. Traders on Kalshi placed just a 14% chance that the company would begin trading before then.
On Polymarket, traders gave a 69% chance that Anthropic would list on a public exchange and open for trading by Nov. 20.
