Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato have reunited for a new limited‑edition campaign for Gomez’s beauty brand, Rare Beauty. The partnership, titled “Still Making Each Other Blush,” revives iconic moments from their 2009 Disney Channel film “Princess Protection Program” and their early YouTube collaborations, positioning the duo as the “Delena” face of a fresh product launch.
The campaign introduces the “Delena Soft Pinch Liquid Blush Bundle,” a $50 set that combines two of Rare Beauty’s bestselling shades—Hope, a nude mauve favored by Gomez, and Virtue, a beige peach selected by Lovato—along with a Soft Pinch Blush Brush. The collection is available exclusively on Rare Beauty’s website and at major retailers such as Ulta and Sephora.
Visually, the campaign recreates the poster look of “Princess Protection Program” with updated versions of the blue and yellow gowns worn by Gomez and Lovato’s characters. A accompanying video posted to Gomez’s YouTube channel revisits their 2008 series “The Demi and Selena Show,” featuring candid questions, childhood reminiscences, and a lip‑sync of their duet “One and the Same.”
The collaboration marks the first public reunion for the longtime friends in nearly a decade, following a notable appearance together at Lovato’s “It’s Not That Deep” tour opening in Orlando, Florida, in April 2024. Both artists highlighted the nostalgic significance of working together again.
“Selena and I have shared a lot of memories over the years since childhood, so being able to connect in this way, in a campaign that feels so nostalgic to both of us, is such a full‑circle moment,” Lovato said. “I’ve loved her liquid blush since she launched the brand so this was really fun to work on. Being on set together felt like we were back in our old bedrooms making YouTube videos and playing with makeup.”
Gomez added, “The experiences I’ve shared with Demi are truly unique. Coming together for this campaign was a beautiful reminder of that history and a chance to celebrate who we are today. One and the same… always.”
