While the Baltimore Ravens face several prominent injury concerns across their roster, their kicking situation has also become a point of contention as Tyler Loop battles an ongoing issue.
During his Monday press conference, head coach Jesse Minter acknowledged that Loop has been managing an undisclosed ailment, noting that the kicker could potentially land on injured reserve.
Despite the coach’s comments, the team has not officially detailed Loop’s condition. Notably, the kicker did not appear on any of the injury reports released during the first eight weeks of the 2026 season.
The outlook became clearer on the team’s first injury report ahead of Thursday night’s matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars, which listed Loop with a right groin injury.
The timing of the injury aligns with Loop’s recent performance, which included a missed field goal during Sunday’s game in Buffalo—his fourth miss of the season.
If Loop is placed on injured reserve, the Ravens are expected to turn to Jake Moody, who currently occupies a spot on the team’s practice squad and would likely be elevated to the active 53-man roster.
