TEHRAN — Iranian state media, citing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, reported on Friday that Iranian air defenses had destroyed a U.S. MQ-1 drone over Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz.
There was no immediate confirmation from the United States.
