Dozens of Israeli settlers entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem on Sunday, touring its courtyards for several hours under the protection of Israeli security forces. The group accessed the site through the Mughrabi Gate. Israeli forces typically enforce strict entry controls for visitors and worshippers at the mosque, including thorough identity checks.
Separately, a Palestinian youth was injured by live fire during an Israeli military raid in Qalqilya. The operation coincided with the arrest of four Palestinians, including two brothers, amid wide-scale home searches and inspections in Jenin, in the northern West Bank.
