A gunman opened fire in central Krakow, Poland’s second-largest city, on Saturday, killing six people and injuring several others.
Footage authenticated by BBC Verify shows about a dozen people running inside two buildings as a black car with its front window open passes, followed by a police car.
Separate video footage captures the moment gunshots were heard in the city’s main market square.
Poland’s interior minister described the suspect—a 25-year-old Polish citizen—as being inspired by “far-right ideologies,” while police said the attacker used “military weapons.”
Hours after the attack, Prime Minister Donald Tusk said three additional bodies were found at the suspect’s home, which remains under search.
