KARACHI – On Monday, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi made an unexpected visit to a large Nadra center located in the Safoora Goth district along University Road, where he evaluated the provision of public services.
During his tour, he examined multiple sections of the center and assessed the standard of services offered to citizens.
He engaged with citizens who had gathered to obtain computerized national identity cards (CNICs) and other necessary documents, gathering firsthand feedback on their experience at the facility.
The minister questioned the efficiency of the document‑processing system and asked visitors whether they encountered any challenges while applying for or receiving their documents.
Citizens in attendance expressed satisfaction with the facilities and services. Several remarked that they experienced no excessive waiting periods; their appointments were scheduled promptly, and staff members consistently demonstrated cooperation and helpfulness.
The minister moved among various service counters and conversed with several senior citizens.
He attentively listened to their concerns and gathered information on any difficulties they faced while accessing services.
Emphasizing the need to assist vulnerable groups, Naqvi instructed relevant authorities to prioritize cases involving senior citizens and women, aiming to reduce inconvenience and enhance service delivery.
At the conclusion of his visit, the interior minister commended Nadra’s management and staff for their efforts in delivering high‑quality services to the public.
He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to improving citizen facilitation and upholding stringent service standards across all Nadra centers nationwide.
