Denver Broncos cornerback Pat Surtain II is positioned to earn an enhanced salary in 2026.
According to his agent, Tory Dandy, Surtain has reached an agreement with the organization on a revised contract. The updated terms include a $5 million raise for the 2026 season, along with the opportunity to earn an additional $5 million in 2027 should he secure All-Pro or Pro Bowl recognition at the end of the campaign. Surtain has established himself as one of the league’s premier defensive backs, collecting two first-team All-Pro selections and four Pro Bowl invitations across five professional seasons.
The former Alabama star originally signed a four-year, $96 million extension in 2024 that went into effect this season. Upon signing, he held the highest average annual salary among cornerbacks, though subsequent deals have since pushed him down that list.
This modification rectifies that decline, and securing the extra 2027 compensation would likely set the stage for another round of contract discussions with the Broncos prior to the expiration of his current deal.
