On June 13, according to a Reuters report, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer held a telephone conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump to discuss initiatives aimed at resolving the Iran conflict, Downing Street announced on Saturday.
Starmer welcomed the progress achieved to date and reiterated that the United Kingdom is prepared to support the implementation of any peace agreement and collaborate with international partners to ensure its success.
The two leaders also agreed on the importance of restoring freedom of navigation to mitigate the global economic impact.
