After an Arizona man found Alice Cooper’s lost credit card, the rocker thanked him with a copy of his latest record.
Cooper had lost his card at a gas station after leaving it at a pump during a golfing trip in the Payson area. A local named Geoff Guy discovered it and returned it to Cooper, who rewarded him with a signed copy of ‘The Revenge Of Alice Cooper’.
Guy’s wife suggested contacting Cooper’s Phoenix-based charity, the Alice Cooper Solid Rock Teen Center, to facilitate the return. The card was successfully handed back to Cooper on June 8, just before his European tour began.
“The guy is a legend for people of my generation, and I’m really glad I could help get it back to him,” Guy said to 12News. Cooper and Guy were seen together in a news segment, with Cooper taking photos and thanking Guy for his good judgment before the tour.
The incident follows Cooper’s announcement of a new definitive autobiography, ‘Devil On My Shoulder,’ set for release on October 8 by Ebury Spotlight. The book explores his career, personal life, and anecdotes involving figures like Jimi Hendrix and Salvador Dalí.
