Refrigerators are especially vulnerable during power outages caused by summer grid strain, as their perishable contents can spoil rapidly. Bluetti’s FridgePower offers an ultraslim portable power station engineered exclusively to maintain refrigeration during blackouts without requiring manual intervention.
“Portable power stations typically demand hands-on management during crises,” stated James Ray, Bluetti spokesperson. “FridgePower automates this process, ensuring round-the-clock operation so homeowners can focus on safety, not logistics, during outages.”
FrigePower distinguishes itself through modular compatibility, fitting vertically on or behind fridges when measuring just 2.95 inches in thickness. It includes a magnetic status indicator that attaches directly to the fridge for real-time charging metrics.
The device simplifies installation with a plug-and-play design compatible with standard kitchen outlets. Operating at 30 decibels, its LiFePO₄ battery supports over 4,000 charge cycles, ensuring longevity. Variants include a 2,016 watt-hour single unit (1,800W surge capacity) for up to 21.6 hours of fridge power, or expandable 8kWh configurations for four days of service using three BlueCell 200 batteries.
FridgePower features an automatic uninterrupted power supply (UPS) that transitions to battery power within 10 milliseconds during outages. It also supports four app-managed modes: Standard, PV Priority (solar-optimized), Time-of-Use (rate plan adaptation), and Custom configurations. Furthermore, it sends Extreme Weather Alerts via Bluetooth to notify users of impending outage risks.
Pricing
The FridgePower is available for $849 (a 35% discount from $1,299) as part of a June Prime Day promotion. A BlueCell 200 expansion battery bundle is offered at $1,598 (36% off its standard $2,498 price).
