Qatar’s Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, has praised President Donald Trump for helping secure a deal with Iran, describing the agreement as essential for stability in the region.
Speaking at a press conference on the sidelines of the G7 summit, Sheikh Tamim said Qatar and the United States are also strengthening economic cooperation, with bilateral trade expected to reach $1.2 trillion.
