JBL expressed hope that Vince McMahon will continue to play a role in the business world.
During the latest episode of *Something To Wrestle*, the former WWE champion discussed potential future moves for McMahon, who has faced ongoing legal challenges since stepping away from the company.
McMahon resigned from TKO Group Holdings in early 2024 after Janel Grant filed a lawsuit alleging sex trafficking and sexual abuse. McMahon has denied the accusations, and recent reports indicate he is working toward resolving the litigation. JBL focused his remarks on McMahon’s professional achievements, separating personal opinions from business considerations.
“I think the business world is better with Vince McMahon in it. I think the entertainment world is better with Vince McMahon in it. You can pick and choose whether you like him personally or not,” JBL said. “I’m just talking professionally. Is he good for business?”
JBL cited McMahon’s track record as evidence. “He took a $1 million investment and sold it for $9.3 billion. It’s one of the greatest stories in American history,” he remarked, noting how McMahon built a global empire from a wrestling industry that once operated out of armories and high‑school gyms.
Describing McMahon as “the ultimate puppet master” who keeps his cards close to his chest, JBL said he would welcome McMahon’s return. “Would he be good at 81 to come back and do something? Hell yes, he would. I don’t know what. I have no idea. I have no insight whatsoever. I just hope he does,” JBL added. He also joked that McMahon shows no signs of slowing down, saying, “He’s told me he’s going to live forever.”
