Evans is evaluating a potential return to physical retail despite having closed its store network, including concessions, in December 2020 after the dissolution of its parent company, Arcadia Group.
In 2023, Evans was acquired by AK Retail Holdings, which also oversees Yours Clothing and M&Co, for £8 million as part of its transition to an online-focused strategy.
According to a spokesperson for Evans, the brand is assessing growth opportunities, including the possibility of establishing independent stores in the future.
“We are broadly considering expansion,” the spokesperson stated. “Evans is currently part of our portfolio within Yours Clothing stores,” they added.
“There may indeed be a future assessment of standalone Evans stores,” the spokesperson noted.
Evans specializes in clothing for sizes 14 to 32 and remains accessible through Yours Clothing locations on high streets.
