View Man Utd summer 2026 transfer targets
Manchester United are aiming to beat Liverpool in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha this summer, according to Sky Sport Germany.
The Red Devils have already secured midfielder Ederson from Atalanta, who is expected to join after the World Cup with Brazil next month.
United are also considering a high‑profile addition. West Ham United’s Matthew Fernandes is a prime target, but the £85 million price tag is proving prohibitive.
As a result, the club has turned its attention to Nmecha, whose representatives have indicated a potential fee of around £70 million, according to The Daily Mail.
Nmecha is eager to return to the Premier League after spending over a decade in Manchester City’s academy, making three senior appearances before moving on.
He has welcomed United’s interest, and it remains to be seen whether a formal approach will be made in the coming days.
