Health officials reported that three individuals lost their lives amid the extensive celebrations in Mexico City following Mexico’s 2‑0 victory over Ecuador in the World Cup. The deceased include a 19‑year‑old woman, a 48‑year‑old woman, and a 44‑year‑old man, all of whom succumbed to asphyxiation.
